2008 Beaux Arts Decorative Grillwork Ornament

The design for this, our annual ornament for 2008, is adapted from the elaborate window grill detail on the front of the Corcoran Gallery of Art. Designed by Ernest Flagg, the museum building is considered one of the finest and best-articulated examples of the Beaux Arts tradition in Washington, D.C.
